ABOUT US
The business of STEELBOND was founded in 1962 under the trading name HSD.
HSD originally manufactured a range of niche products used to service shoe manufacturers. HSD expanded its market in the 1970’s to include the cash-and-carry, wholesale and DIY markets.
HSD improved on its formulations and moved into its current purpose-build production facility during the 1990’s.
HSD further expanded its operations and automated its production facility between 2000 – 2020.
The business of HSD was acquired by STEELBOND in 2022.
